HTR is the right partner for these special requirements. We have been supplying hardened premium components for the steering gear of racing cars for several years.
HTR components fulfil an important function not only in the premier class of motorsport, but also in motorbike racing in the form of brake discs, clutch baskets, camshafts and crankshafts. The components are vacuum or case hardened or plasma nitrided. In plasma nitriding, the surface layer of a workpiece is enriched with nitrogen in an ionised gas atmosphere. The result is clean component surfaces with significantly improved abrasion and wear resistance.
